MORE INFORMATIONS ABOUT 1977 CHÂTEAU AUSONE :

Located in St Emilion, near Bordeaux (Gironde, France), the Château Ausone is part of the prestigious family of the 1st Grands Crus Classés A.

This small domain of 7 hectares takes its name from the consul “Ausone” (Ausonius).

From its complete name Decimus Magnus Ausonius was born in 309/310 in Bazas or Bordeaux.

Considered as the archetype of the fine and very aromatic wine of Saint-Émilion, the Château Ausone is lined with a character characteristic of the limestone terroir where its vineyards flourish.
