Owned by the Boüard de Laforest family since 1782, the vineyard has always been managed to bring the best level.
This excellent work has paid off, since in 2012 this flagship of St Emilion is ranked among the largest and thus passes 1st Grand Cru Classé A, thus joining the prestigious Château Cheval Blanc, Château Ausone and Château Pavie
Château Angélus wines have a deep colour, fine and racy, with a great tannic structure that allows a great guard potential.
Nose is rich and complex with a multitude of aromas, sometimes red fruits, liquorice, tobacco…
Palate is rich, broad, silky and delicate, sometimes complex.
