In 1868, the baron de Rothschild buys the Château Lafite Rothschild vineyards, wich is already ranked 1st Grand Cru Classé since 1855.

This is not less than 6 generations which are going to follow one another to bring the Château Lafite Rothschild until the world famous place which is his.

Today, it is  Saskia de Rothschild who manages the ” Domaines Barons de Rothschild “.

We can find the “Domaine d’Aussières” located in Languedoc, the “Domaine Las Vascos” located in Chile, and finally the “Domaine Caro” located in Argentina.

The “Domaines Baron de Rothschild company also includes : Castles Rieussec, Duhart-Milon and the l’Evangile.

Here are some of the main striking qualities which we are notified by the various comments of tasting from this fabulous wine : compact, powerful, sophisticated, wild tannins, black fruits and precious wood notes, phenomenal length.
